Rob Taylor - Senior Managing Consultant
I started my career in recruitment in 2001 when I left University with a 2:1 in BA English literature. I had a huge student loan after having a lovely time at University and felt the only way to rid myself of such debt was to sell myself and thankfully over the last 10 years I have been good at it. Concept offered me the opportunity to start my own sector, then grow my own team and become a senior figure within the business in charge of team GP but also assist and support ensuring the strategy of the business became reality. I have been with Concept for eight years and during that time we have managed to grow through a tough recession. As a result of strong customer partnerships we have ambitious expansion plans into 2012 and beyond.
What are your hobbies?
Golf, football and other competitive sports. I have been known to have a fit when my niece / nephew beat me on computer games, which I am afraid happens regularly these days.
Whats your claim to fame?
I once swam for the City of Birmingham against Adrian Moorhouse in a relay (and lost!) and was conducted by Sir Simon Rattle at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
Who would be your ideal dinner guest?
Keith Richards (living) or Keith Moon - drummer from the Who (dead).
When I was younger I wanted to be...
I wanted to be a doctor but as I really have an issue with blood I decided to leave that as a pre-pubescent dream.
Melanie Fedeli - Managing Consultant
I started with Concept nearly three years ago with some recruitment experience. Since joining, I have progressed through the ranks from Trainee Consultant to Managing the Field Service division of Concept Resourcing. I have benefited from the excellent training that Concept have provided (internally and externally), having recently undertaken my Diploma in Recruiment Practice with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. Gym (Sometimes), Bikram Yoga, Shopping and Spray Tans.

I had breakfast with JLS in Los Angeles; they were staying at the same hotel as us.

Six years ago Concept took a chance on me as someone with no sales experience to join the business as a trainee. Sally Hill - Recruitment Consultant
I started at Concept as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in June 2010 and I was promoted to a Recruitment Consultant in January 2011, after undertaking an internal training plan on how to develop and set up my own desk.
I set up a desk that specialises in Sales Recruitment to a specific industry, which is now a very busy and successful desk. I have been asked to help develop the sales division further for 2012 as Concept have ambitious growth plans. I have been rewarded with various incentives such as trips to Celtic Manor, lunch clubs, summer and Christmas Parties, Champagne, an iPad and a highly competitive commission plan.
